Kissing Talk

Types Of Kisses

There are many different types of kisses, and for any relationship, it is important to learn how to kiss properly. Surprisingly, so many people do not know how to kiss. They may have never wanted to kiss or just do not have experience kissing. Luckily, kissing can be easy and fun to learn.

The Peck

The most basic type of kiss is the peck. This kiss is quick and not very romantic. It is great for younger people and first time kissers. All someone has to do is pucker up with closed lips and gently press their lips to their partner's lips or cheek. Be sure not to do this kiss too quickly because there may be no connection felt. On the other hand, if it is done too slowly, it can be awkward.

The Romantic Kiss

The next kind of kiss is the romantic kiss. The romantic kiss is a great second date kiss because it is slow and deepens the connection between two people. To do the romantic kiss, stick out your lips slightly, open your mouth just a little bit, and tilt your head to one side (usually the right). Lean in to kiss, and slowly close your lips once they touch the other persons. Be sure to keep your lips soft and gentle instead of hard and stiff. That makes the kiss much more romantic and tender. This kiss is meant to be slow and soft. If it is done too fast, it will seem sloppy and not very romantic. Also, moist lips are a must for perfecting this kiss. Dry and cracked lips feel rough and can kill the mood of the kiss.

The French Kiss

Another popular kiss is the French kiss. The French kiss is very similar to the romantic kiss, except the tongue is used too. In addition to sticking out your lips, opening your mouth, and tilting your head slightly to the side, you will have to insert your tongue into the other person's mouth. The best time to insert your tongue is right when your lips meet the other persons, but before you both close your lips to end the kiss. Keep your tongue soft feeling, instead of hard and pointy. Your tongues should gently graze one another before slowly closing your lips and pulling away.

Making Out

The last kind of kiss is making out. Making out is basically continuous French kissing. To make out, follow all of the steps to romantic and French kissing, except swirl your tongue around the other person’s mouth and tongue. This can last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. Some people like to suck on their partner's tongue while making out, and others like to suck on their partner's top or bottom lip. Making out is typically more wet and passionate than any other kind of kissing. Some people like to kiss wet and sloppy, whilst others like to keep their kisses clean and neat. The best way to figure out what your partner wants is to simply judge how they react and respond to your kisses. Also, try to kiss the way your partner kisses because that shows what they want in a kiss.
